Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data — if you sign up: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• IP address — used to enforce usage limits for signed-out visitors and to attribute searches/clicks made without an account. We do not use it for tracking beyond that.
• Search activity — the patterns you build, the domains checked, and their availability results.
• Registrar click events — which registrar outlink you clicked and for what domain, used only in aggregate for our own product analytics.
• Error diagnostics — if enabled, unhandled errors are reported to Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service, to help us fix bugs.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with third parties except the service providers described above (registries we query for availability, and Sentry for error monitoring), each acting on our behalf.

Data retention

If you use the Service without an account, your searches and their results are deleted after 14 days. If you have an account, your searches are retained until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Registrar click analytics are retained separately, in aggregate, and are not tied to a specific search once it’s purged.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie (set by our authentication provider) to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting [contact email].

Children

The Service isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
